As you cross the 161st Street causeway to get to your home, you enjoy stunning water views and are reminded of the surroundings you are privileged to live amongst. This private crossing is often utilized by your neighbors as an ideal location for taking a stroll, walking the dog, do a bit of shore fishing or even stop to rest on a park bench to unwind. This large home was recently been updated to create an open concept floor plan. The interior updates include raising the ceiling to expose the natural wood beams of the roof in the kitchen and adjacent great room. The kitchen boasts new upgraded cabinets (2018), new granite (River Blue) summer 2024, new marble backsplash and feature wall (summer 2024). It also features 2 counter seating areas (one at bar height at the front of kitchen entrance and another counter height peninsula at the rear of the kitchen). The bank of the cabinets is extensive (16) and drops into an eat in kitchen area that overlooks the water.
